LEAF MAN is a human figure wearing leaves over his body. The image is taken from one of Azuma's dreams and was first presented as a work in 2008 at AMPG. Seven years later, the same figure appeared to Azuma once again in a dream, at dawn on 13 April 2015, and once again was turned into inspiration for his work. Azuma says that LEAF MAN invariably simply stares at him from afar, and that he awoke from the dream just as he was wondering whether to speak to his verdant visitor, or punch him.

LEAF MANは、葉を体にまとった人間の姿である。これは東の見た夢の中の光景からインスピレーションを得たもので、2008年にAMPGで初めて作品として発表された。それから7年後、2015年4月13日の明け方、同じ人物が再び夢の中に現れ、作品のインスピレーションとなった。東によれば、LEAF MANはいつも遠くからただ東を見つめており、東がその青々とした訪問者に話しかけようか、それとも殴ろうかと迷っているところで夢から覚めたという。
